Climate Protection and Decarbonization at Hacker Feinmechanik

Hacker Feinmechanik GmbH Offenberg

Hacker Feinmechanik GmbH aims to gradually reduce its energy-related greenhouse gas emissions and further expand its use of renewable energy.

A key component of our decarbonization strategy is switching the electricity we purchase to renewable energy sources.

Our goal:
By 2027, 100% of the electricity used by Hacker Feinmechanik will come from renewable energy sources.

The goal is to reduce market-based Scope 2 emissions from purchased electricity to zero.

We are already implementing various measures to improve our environmental performance and energy efficiency. These include, in particular, the use of energy-efficient machinery and lighting, our own photovoltaic systems, heat recovery, and the continuous monitoring and optimization of our energy consumption.

Continuous improvement of our environmental performance, as well as the systematic collection and evaluation of relevant environmental data, are integral parts of our environmental strategy.
